Bill of Materials 

A Bill of Materials or product structure (sometimes bill of material, BOM or associated list) is a list of the raw materials, sub-assemblies, intermediate assemblies, sub-components, parts, and the quantities of each needed to manufacture an end product.

In Xserp, you can upload or create the bill of material for any finished good or semi finished goods.

Steps to enter BOM

• Go to Profile >> Material click the material name. 
• In the right side click Bill of Material tab.
• Bill of Material tab will open, in the material dialog box choose the raw material or sub components from the drop down.
• Choose the suitable makes if available or select NA.
• Enter the number of quantity.
• Click + button. 
• Add the next material and continue. 
• Click Save. 

Import BOM

If you already have a BOM list, you can import them into Xserp in the CSV format.

• Go to Profile >> Material click the material name. 
• In the right side click Bill of Material tab.
• Click the Upload button.
• Choose the file and click Upload.

Price profile

Xserp provides with a feature called Price profile where you can map a material with its suppliers and their price.

• Go to Profile >> Material click the material name.
• Click Price Profile tab.
• Select the Supplier from the drop down.
• Select the Makes if available.
• Enter the buying price of the material that the supplier is agreed to issue.
• Navigate in calendar the and choose the Effective date. 
• Change the status as Approved.
• click Save.

This rate would auto-populate in PO when the material is chosen for the profiled party.
